How to add page numbers to a PDF
A thesis, a report or an offer looks more professional – and is easier to discuss – with page numbers. If your PDF doesn’t have them, you can add them without going back to the original document. Here’s how on Windows, for free and offline.
Free forever – no watermark, no limits.
Step by step
Open Page numbers
Install Folibird, choose Page numbers and pick the PDF.
Choose where and how
Pick the position (top or bottom, left, centre or right) and the format: 1, Page 1 of 10, 1 / 10 or – 1 –. The preview shows how it will look.
Skip the cover if you want
Tick No number on the first page and choose the number to start with.
Save
Click Add numbers & save. The original file stays as it is.
